Just wondered if there was any talk of the iPad been hacked so it can have a proper OS loaded on.
Bit like this Ubuntu/joggler thing.
Would definatly be worth a buy if so!

With a 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM and inferior GPU the iPad would make a terrible computer. It will never run any OS or software other than the iPhone OS to a satisfactory degree.

I jailbroke my iPad two weeks ago 
The touch screen isnt that bad with windows. I've used RDP client to login to servers at work and can easily carry out most tasks.
I wouldnt want to use it for long periods of time as a mouse would be alot quicker, but for odd tasks its ok.
