if you look at what you actually get for your money you can see why they are so popular

My opinion, I just think camp people drive them, corsa's arent no, but people wouldnt buy corsa's if they had the money not to. They are a decent car for the money... for the price of a mini id get something a bit more agressive

phil321- ive seen the kit in black with crome inserts and it looks much better- just a bit more agro than standard- i do agree though that in tose pics it doesnt look great
sooty- i know what you mean but the way i look at it is that group 8 insurance on a 1.616v engine with sports suspension, buckets and works tuning kit is bloody good- i struggled to find another car for the money that i could insure and was more than happy with the look of it as standard
im also sick of driving cars that get me classed as a "boy racer"....so far ive had two novas , a rover gti and the corsa- want something a bit more classy this time and a mini bmw fits the bill as well as being fun to drive and easy to mod

now you'll be seen as a 'girl racer' or 'ghey racer'...
No Offence but most people who drive them / want them (not including powerful models) are A) Women, B) Gay Men or C) Trying to relive the youth of the old mini.

paul- i dont buy a car based on what i will be viewed as while driving it. I want it because of the value for money, performance, looks and possibilities for modding....
as you can see from the majority of posts that is not how most people percieve the mini
i know a few people who have the new mini- none are gay, none are women

also- what exactly is wrong with trying to relive the old mini- you are talking about a performance and styling icon
