Hi all im new to corsa sport im a member off mk3oc but After my Astra GSi ph2 got written off i bought a corsa sport off a mate off mine for not alot off pennys, its been parked up for 18mths and un taxed i polished it up and fitted a post 97 front bumper

i fitted the steering wheel gear knob from my astra as well as the scorpion alarm i dident want anything off my old GSi to go to waste ive kept the engine and gearbox even tho it was a x20xev not a redtop im going to be fitting it into my corsa ive bought the full fitting kit for it,

just got wind deflectors today as well as fitted the lowering kit gmax on 60mm nova springs its a little bit slammed need newer low profile tiers now, thinking about buying some cav fan blades the car isent taxed yet as ive had to apply for the log book due to previous owner lsoeing it soo its takeing a while im not fussed its more time for me to potter around with it,

what you lot think !

it was pink it has been g3ed then colour t coated and polished with auto glem 2-3 times took me 2days to get it back red, it does have some damage on drivers quater where some one has kicked it i think and the roof has a ripple in it where the bonnet came up on my mate ages ago but im going to book it into a local body shop and get these small things sorted out ive also got calibra v6 brakes for it,

ive gave mine greef for 6-7 months untill it got written off (bloke crashed into the side off me) only think i have to replace was a crank sensor but its like all engines you get good ones and bad ones its just the luck off the pick really, and the x20xev has the same block as a c20xe soo same mounts ect its just like fitting a redtop,

Are the wipers different to go on the tigra wiper arms mate? I have tigra scuttle, and got some tigra wiper arms last weekend, but my 2x 18" wipers from the corsa wipers cross in the middle. I'm thinking a 16" driver's side wiper will do the trick?

Car looks nice btw

I have corsa ones on mine atm, but to get them to sit nice and low on the windscreen, they end up touching the panel, and hitting it every time the wipers are on. So whe I was at scrappy looked at a Tigra and the arms were sifferent.

only diffrance i noticed was the drivers side arm has a slight kink in it soo it sits in line with the kink on the scuttle pannel i just used my same flat blade wipers which i got for the corsa there close but dont touch

Oh right, the ones on the tigra that I got must be dodgy then lol. Corsa arms, one is longer than the other, whereas the arms I got are the smae length lol

well the day has finaly come x14xe expired bottom end went, soo out it comes

x14xe has left and is never to return again

Corsa Vs x20xev

x20xev sitting in its new home

i have to say this conversion isent going smoothly as a redtop ones go im haveing to change the full inlet manifold to one from ither a x18xe or 2.0 16v omega as its far to big the rear selector hits it and it did sit on the back heater pipes, also ive had to buy a new clutch 2 bottom arms and 2 cav mk2 1800cc cv joints to use the corsa sport shafts

oh and ive added my v6 brakes there fill the 15's very nice i like to make sure i can stop
