Hello Sports Day.
This is the final Crossfit Challenge I'll be posting but I've saved the best til last. This is the defining Crossfit workout and you will be forever judged by your time.
"Fran"
21 - 15 - 9 reps of:
42.5kg Thrusters
Pullups
For those of you that do lift, a Thruster is a front-squat into a push-press. For those that don't, this is the basic movements with dumbbells:

Kipping of the pullups IS allowed.
42.5kg is the prescribed weight but don't be afraid to scale it right down - an empty bar is enough weight for someone thats not used to squatting/pressing.
This is a demo of how it should be done The record is currently held by this dude and the work-rate is insane.

I managed 7mins 42s @ 35kg.
I might sound like a complete nutcase going on about this method of training but I really believe in it. Crossfit-ers are by far and away the strongest AND fastest people I've ever trained with. If you're in a city with a Crossfit gym I strongly suggest you go down and check it out at least once!
Peace out xx

I'd struggle to do 1 pullup but he's using the momentum of his legs swinging, surely that can't count or is that what kipping means?

That's kipping, it changes pullups from a pure strength exercise to part strength, part cardio.

If it feels good you're not doing it right
