17inch alloys with 205/40/17 tyres onto a corsa C?

I don't know much about wheels so looking for some help

Yes, but it depends on what the offset is. Anything less than about 42, no.

I'm told the wheel offset is 45 and a corsa C is 42/43

unless you have a 1.8SRi as the brakes require et40 to clear ideally

i had 17 inch et38 lowered 60mm fine on my old corsa

I had GSi wheels on mine, ET49 14 inchers. It was tight but they fit

No it's a standard 1.2 sxi twinport

hense the ideally part

im running et45 atm with 15mm spacers on the front to clear the 4pots and they're fine, lowered around 40mm
