I am in the process of selling my girlfriends Toyota Rav4 Freesport (think a special edition) 1998 S reg, 91k good condition but don't know where I'd get a valuation for it. They're going for around £2,000 on Autotrader, which seems a bit steep for this kind of age etc.....any ideas or guesses at prices???

if there going for 2k on other sites (pheads,autotrader) then price it well in that range against the others.

It only got to £1k on Ebay and my reserve was £1100....didn't know if i was over estimating....a bloke came to look at it and thought £1200 was steep....just not a clue if i was going too high or it was the ones online that are too high

i always use Wisebuyers as a valuation, always seem to be a low estimate but at least gives an idea of the market trend

parkers.co.uk for a vague price, have to sign up if you want a more precise valuation, good for ball park figures
