was unaware of speed this morning and realised i was doing around 40+ in a 30... the type of road and the others cars speed limit makes it hard to judge if you dont know the road but my reg plate is in the window with the bottom half 'EDM' covered up by the wiper... do you think i will get away with it???

40 in a 30 they may let you away with. They normally just penalise the bigger speeders. Any pics of number plate? lol

its like a dual carrigeway road though if you get me... and no not and hand... just thought because reg was in window might of got away with it... but there were other cars at similar speeds to myself

See they cannot penalise everybody, they will go for the bigger speeders in my opinion

pretty shocking really... if only the driveshaft hadnt of come out this morning i wouldnt have had to go that route...

One of them vans did me last year for doing 36 in a 30.

my bro best mate is a camera van driver and it depends on area as to what you get. Theres a little camera on front of van just under rear view mirror recording. So if they clock you speeding and you have no front plate all they have to do is play the recording from the front which will show your rear plate . .

and if they dont have footage of your plate they pass the picture onto the police who then keep an eye out for you to get your plate. This is more common with bikes that go through the same camera more then once at silly speeds . .

i got caught by one of these vans doing 38 in a 30 got sent on a speed awareness course,cost me £150ish, better than a fine and points imo though

Same here, I didn't have the option of the course so had to take the points
