i have these lights protectors that fit over my headlights, and someone in the household has managed to scratch them quite deeply by resting them face down on a metal hinge???? i mean how stupid are some people?
is it possible to polish them you reckon and what with. I will have to try and find what they are made off.
they have one edge about 3cm wide i can practice on that won't be seen

who scratched them? was it your mum? id go and 'practice' on her living room windows tbh

don't know, mum, dad, brother, anyone of them.
i've had them a year or so and not even put swirl marks in them

Yeh it's reasonably new, not had a chance to try it myself, but seen pretty good results on forums. Is designed for lights, convertible roofs etc afaik.
I tend to just use a light cut polish personally.

my plastic angel eyes were badly scratched the other day and i just used megs scratch x by hard worked in very hard and it worked well

Brasso is good for acrylic stuff. I use it on edges of plastic after I've cut and filed it to get scratches out...

Exactly what I have used in the past. My mates headlights on his BMW were cloudy and scratched and this method sorted it out, looked like new.

I use Greygate Plastic Polish. We used it in the RAF to polish scratches out of a/c canopies. Better than any of the fancy named stuff by miles.
