I'd have taken Gerrard off and put Crouch on instead of Heskey.
However the performance was miles better even if we need to improve in some areas still.
I thought Ashley Cole had a blinder by the way.

Gotta beat the good teams if you wanna win the trophy etc..etc...

We play better against the big teams anyway, they come at us, we can play around them on the break etc...

Good enough performance today, just a shame the yanks nabbed a win at the end

Means I now have to go watch the gfs play twice instead of missing the saturday evening performance

It shows the kind of player he is tbh. He's not been at his absolute best recently but he's one of the only players out there who puts his body on the line time and again for the team.
