probably one of your rear brake cylinders has gone pop. check if the brake fluid is leaking over the wheel and if the fluid has gone down, also take the rear drums off to check.

lol.

its easy enough to do, if it is that you will need a new cylinder and complete set of brake shoes for both sides. just did mine cos exactly this happpened. common fault, happened twice to me in 3 years. £40 a time in parts too

Mine does this sometimes i only recently discovered that it was a slight camber in the road like a sort of rut, could feel it pulling me steering wheel.

yep - mine is same with sooty. All of my breaks, tyres and alignment is spot on, but still does it. It what happens when ur running big rims on roads which slope

Recently I just had to replace my Master Cylinder because I had that problem...
if you feel your pedals spongier than normal I'd have a look at this as it means maybe only 2 of your brakes are working ... as i found out the hard way
