Seems slightly harsh but doubt you have much grounds to complain. What kind of account? Is it a bank? Or a shop?

I did attempt to get a mortgage with them last year but they declined it due to borded up properties in the local area affecting re-sale value, they were knocked down around a week after.
Bearing in mind most people have only got like 0.50p in an old savings account and will get £250 regardless of their performance within the business.

They're wise, open an account for next time.

Already considered. They took all the information for who will and wont get paid last month.

If its a big bank you won't get anywhere complaining.
Annoying, but you'll know you should now open an account just in case they do it again

Fairly big. Yeah Union weren't even bothered as they know its useless trying but did agree its unfair. Just a bit of a kick in the teeth, especially when i could do with the money
I expressed my dissagreement in a professional, un-biased and non-controversial way on the internal open forum, to which the 30% of other employess who are not eligible agreed, but apparently i am now in for a bollocking upon my return to work tomorrow
