How much should I be looking to pay a garage for a cambelt change and all the necessary bits that entail? It's for a 2002 1.8 Astra btw.

I'd think around £140 + vat at a small garage. We charge £80 for the cambelt kit, no idea on labour costs though but you'll be getting charged a couple of hours worth.

I just got my cambelt kit inc tensioners and water pump for £139 from Autovaux.

Going to fit it in a couple of weekends on my return.

Pop round (as i am in MK also) and i shall attempt yours after mine! lol!

Thats assuming i dont knacker mine up

I got a cambelt kit, head set, head bolts and water pump for around £120

warreng would be my choice, gen bits and all the locking tools etc, and a vauxhall tech

On my astra i payed £180 for the cambelt, Waterpump and aux belt to be changed and an oil change
