why becasue you are better off getting throttle bodies. plus noone makes an off the shelf turbo kit for the 1.4. it would need shit loads of internal stuff uprating for a turbo.

Don't be ridiculous, if you want a turbo get the new corsa c turbo when it comes out, or get a c20 let from a cav/callly turbo and fit it to yours, if you wana keep your 1.4 16v then get throttle bodies or mantzel box, (tb's for best power but more expensive)

erm and how much is that gonna cost?
you would also need, new inlet manifold, uprated head gasket, con bolts, bottom end bolts, fuel pump just to name a few. people have turboed there 1.5d using 1.5 td parts and still cant get it setup right.

stick with a manzel powerbox or similar, throttle bodies are like 3 grand.

possibly, but for the same money you would get more than that from throttle bodies. plus they sound awesome.

Yes thats right, but there not very reliable, or so ive been told.

Theres not many options with this engine, as im pretty sure although Mantzel, Velos, lexmaul and SBD do bits for the C14XE/X14XE, they dont make stuff for the Z14XE, which the C's have.

The only option me and my mate could find is a Dbillas manifold or their throttle bodies. although there was only about 5bhp difference between the two

It would have been wiser just to buy a turbo rather than have it converted, because this is the case for all engines.

Yeah. If your seriously thinking of spending money on it, theres still cams, exhausts, induction kits, ECU upgrades Etc for it, you just need to look harder for them

Not really sure. The Z14 is a wierd engine, cause the whole reasone the X14/C14's were so responsive to manifold changes was because the air had to travel about 4 foot from entering the filter, to getting into the cylinder, and the Mantzel/velos boxes etc changed this to about a foot and a half.

On the Z14's though, there is no big induction manifold, but they still only produce 90BHP, so i dont know what restricts it.
