if you have an iphone, most places now have free wifi, shops, bars, work, etc
tbh, where else would you want to use it?
Wales as we are there most weekends. My mother has not got my bird into going down with us. I'm totally fucked
Is the sim card accessable in the iPad and can i swop? I currently use a 3G THREE dongle and connect to a terminal server back at my appartment to download HD films etc. Then just wack them onto my laptop and plug into the HDMI socket on a the TV. Works well for me as we live beween 2 houses and our parents houses, plus a static caravan in Wales.
iPad would be brilliant for use on the train and not having to boot up a Windows laptop all the time when just browsing the internet.

I'm not sure about the iPad - we have a netbook here which we take if we go away anywhere should we need Internet or email access but then, I just bought myself a Nokia E63 for my business so I can use it to check my emails and download appointment details to the calendar from Google either via WiFi or 3G when I'm out and about - only cost £99 from 3 on PAYG whereas a Blackberry would have cost me about £50 more and has less features (can't remember the model number).
I've not tried out an iPad yet so can't decide for certain whether I like it or not, as every time I go near an Apple store it's full of people wanking over their iPhones.
I do like my gadgets, but seems a lot of money for something that you can only really email, browse the web or listen to music on (I can do this and more on my £200 netbook).
Hmmm...
