had some driveshafts delivered that I bought today from a member on another forum
They said that they were in full working order etc but when I revieved them today the inner boot on one was split. Looks like it was pinched in transit as it was bent over and all the grease is on the bubble wrap.
Just wondered if anyone has claimed for anything before and if its worth it? Or will I just be told to GTF
Annoying as its the drivers one that is split and that is the one that I needed

It depends if the person sending it insured it. They would have to put the claim in anyway.

Did you pay by paypal? Just open a claim up saying the item is defective. You'll probably end up with a partial refund of some sorts, or a full refund if you send it back.

I know its the principal, but if you do them now, while its easy and they are off the car (i dunno how hard this job is on the car btw?? ) you know they will probably not need doing again

Although they look a bit different to what i've seen, boot pushes into the cup?
Is there a spider in there? i.e triangular thing with bearings on it?
