I’ve just been quoted £270 for parts/labour for a full service with a cam belt and water pump change on my 2003 1.2 16v Clio Billabong.
This consists of:
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
5l of Oil
4x Spark Plugs
Cam belt Kit
Water Pump
Total Parts - £147
Labour - £120
Does this sound reasonable?

Are you handy with a ratchet? Buy the parts yourself and have a go if so. Maybe leave the belt and pump for a mechanic to do.

Sounds ok to me
As the cambelt and water pump is an awkward job as far as i'm aware?
Some one local to you on here though may be able to do it cheaper?

That price is for me getting the parts myself from the local motor factors and then just purely labour, not sure whetehr garages would add any cost onto the parts if they got them, or even if they would be cheaper?
I could do the service myself no problems at all but i need the stamp for my book.
I'd be more than happy to pay someone local who can do it me for less than £120 cash in hand and has a proper stamp for my book. Ive read that cambelt involves removing the engine mount.
