Ive got a new 23inch Hd monitor for my birthday and im having a few issues with it.
It reccomends that i should run the resolution at 1920x1080 (Maximum).
When ive gone to change my screen resolution the max setting it allows me is 1400x 1050.
Ive updated the driver for the monitor and also updated the graphics card driver and had no luck.
Does this mean i need a better graphics card to run the monitor in HD at max resolution?
Any help would be great as ive had no response from dell

What graphics card is in it?
Try updating driver, or...
If you are looking at the resolution settings using Windows (ie. right click, properties), then you could try the NVIDIA control panel, or ATI CCC, depending on what card you have as there are more advanced settings in there. They might list the correct resolution.
