Was told that I could use the standard back gearbox mount if I cut it, so no need to use a spacer or extend linkage. but unsure what to cut?
And Some people say you can wire the xe loom to the plug that came off the original engine loom but I'm not sure which wires go to what?

im not to sure about the loom,but wouldnt it be easyier to buy the mount?

You dont cut the mount as such you have to grind off the lip thats on the top of your pic. Hold the mount next to the gearbox and you will see what needs to come off. That lip gets in the way when tightening up the two bolts.
imo its better to use the spacer and extend the linkage anyway as it gets the engine sitting more level in the bay.
loom wise follow the conversion guide, do a search its on here (in general chat which is the wrong section) every week.

That's just my spare mount I'll be buying a quickshift and a spacer next payday just need to working for time being
