Haven't actually been to Malmaison yet (strange since it's only about a 5 minute walk from our house!) but it is meant to be good. It's in the west end rather than town centre, but you could always have drinks in Simpsons hotel which is just next door, or there's Dizzys or The Dutch Mill (a bit more casual) just down the road.

Royal Thai is also good...it's in the centre

I'm a bit brain dead today so can't actually think of anything! You should have seen how long it took me to figure out and write the date today in the bank

Would offer, but I have an exam coming up and have already taken last weekend off for a hen and next weekend off for Time Attack, so I'm running out of days to study!
