Hi Guys,
I managed to get a couple days in NY recently. I used my D300 and 12-24 only as I did not want to carry loads of kit around with me!
Here are a few of my better shots...
1. Grand Central Station
2. Time Square
3. Street Vendor
I would have loved to take hundreds of all the cliched shots but it was too hot (95 average!) and I was struggling to get some of the effects I was after. I need to get a manual to get fully clued up on the camera! Also after shooting a wedding the night before I was getting sick of taking pictures

Looks amazing mate! Where did you stay? Am currently looking for 3 days in January, hoping to get somewhere near to that quality of pics!

Photos look good, NY is a nice place.
I remember when we went a few years ago, a police man was talking to a hot dog stall vendor, looked like he was going to fine him (no license?), as it was busy as usual he took a few steps back and disappeared into the crowd
