Just re-insured my 1.4 corsa sport with quinn-direct, 1 years no claim just less than a years driving experience with a full licence, 3rd party f+t £1450 not a bad drop from £4500

is an article in the papers today about insurance for young drivers, some lad looking to insure his £2000 corsa, and was quoted £17,000

cheapest he got was £2555

is getting stupid now, i feel sorry for new drivers

yeah it is quite ridicoulous but the drop that i got im quite happy with, most of the quotes i got shoppin round wer £2000+ i thought it might be cheaper if i shopped around but obviously now

yeah i got my arse handed to me, started off with quinn as a learner because they where by far the cheapest on my 1.2 ls 5 door, then i passed my test 'forgot' to tell them, had a minor crash in that and just scrapped it, no insurance involved, bought my current car told them, and changed my licence over, and dropped from fully comp to 3rd f+t and they said it was goin up to £200 a month, when i got a quote as though i was starting fresh the cheapest i got was £4500 and that was with quinn so just stuck it out till i got a years no claim

i payed 1800 3rd party fire and theft on a 1.6 vectra when i was 17.was not happy
