Narrowed it down to the following.

All LGs with the single layer design. 50 inch.

PS6000 - 1080p , 3 HDMI ports , - £570 - Older design with standard 1 year warrenty

PQ6000 - 720p , 3 HDMI ports , £550 with 5 year warrenty - Older design

PJ650 - 720p , 2 HDMI ports , £610 with 5 year warrenty - new design

Pk790 - 1080p , 4 HDMI ports, £840 1 year warrenty - New design

I watch the odd blueray movie and play ps3 modern warfare/fifa. I will most likely be aquiring Sky sports HD for the new season.

I can sit 8ft and 11ft from TV.

Ive narrowed it down to PS6000 to PJ650 because the extra money I save on PK790 I could buy a surround sound system.

Just like some opinions who no more about this kinda stuff.

And to make a point I want the single layer (frameless design).

I would personally spend a little more money on the TV and get a panni, the picture quality will be worth it.

http://www.avforums.com/forums/plasma-tvs/ is well worth spending a few hours reading on there.
