As im working away i havent checked my post but theres one from the DVLA which im guessing is my 10year photo renewal, question is......is there a time limit in terms of getting it sent back? i wont be back to my home address for at least week and i dont want to get fined, anyone know??

Phone them up Matt and just explain the situation, and tell them to make a note of it. Just to keep yourself in the clear.

mate, the dvla are disabled - its best to get someone to open it so that you know what it is. Dont trust the dvla with nothing. They have a licence to print their own laws!

there is a time limit yes, the dvla have cocked my renewal up it has now expired and i still have no liscence back.

Mine came through and I forgot about it untill my insurance came up and they wanted a copy of my license.

Its been 6 months since it ran out, I sent it back a few weeks ago and forgot to put a date on the cheque. They sent it all back but made no note of my old license being so out of date. Im currently waiting for my new license, hoping it will turn up next week with no issues.

Kowing the DV theiving twats LA though they will prob now want £200 for having to send my cheque back

When I got my licence back I'm sure they removed loads of things on the back, limiting what I can/cannot drive

code 122 means: "restriction lifted after passing C.B.T."
This means a CBT must be completed before a moped can be ridden.

I don't have that because I have A (motorbike licence)

Your points will only be printed on your paper licence.
