Got an inspiron here and it's doing well considering it gets thrown and dumped around the house. But i agree, the trackpad is shit - one minute it'll work fine, next minute it won't register correctly, the scroll section doesn't always work if you've resumed from sleep. Apart from that though it's a good laptop and touch plastic (got nothing wood near me) nothing has broken!

Same as Norcy and Alunj, I too have a mbp and could never go back to a windows laptop. 1. Build quality is amazing (still looks brand new after months, dropped it a few times too) 2. The multitouch pad (using anything else just seems rubbish now) 3. The backlit keyboard (Again other keyboard just seem rubbish and dated) also don't forget os x, 1000% improvement on any windows iv used. After owning my Macbook Pro, everything else just feels like old crap tech.
Edit: Theres loads more reasons but don't want to write an essay

Right, im more than sure my Macbook's supposed to have a backlit keyboard, does it just work automatically or is there a setting you have to change? Either that or mine doesn't actually have it ha
Have you got it switched on? It's the same way as adjusting the brightness on the screen (obviously not the same buttons)

Just got my new laptop this morning, I don't often say this about computers but this thing is pretty awesome! If it lasts longer than 12 months I will definately buy Samsung laptops again in the future!

Yep. M1330. My dads M1530 is no better either, just a bigger hunk of expensive junk.
