Right, the light/lightbulb in our fridge seems to have gone! Can anyone shed any light (literally!) on this situation- is it possible to replace a bulb and ifso where do we get one from? Or does it need a whole new light?
Any help/info/advice would be great! Especially if someone has experienced this situation first hand too.

Usually they are just a small 20/40w screw-in bulb, like http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=44429
Have replaced a few fridges (and chest freezers) in the past, once the cover is off (some have been screwed in, other are literally clipped in), unscrew the old bulb, screw in the new.

The ones I have replaced in the past are 15w and are like this:

Some access covers are more tricky to remove than others. Your owners manual for the fridge should tell you how to replace.

Pop the old one out and take it to Maplins (There is one in Aylesbury as I was there this week ) They'll find you the correct replacement

Check to see if the switch hasn't stuck in. Ours does it every now and again!
