right, ages ago on a night out in town, i was walking home, got home and realised i never had my phone so filed a police report, got in touch with my insurance but never contacted orange.
next day i got a few mates to walk the route i took home and we ended up finding the phone not far from mine but had a few deep scratches on, didnt bother me too much at all so never claimed but i never phoned up the police or my insurance to let them know iv found it
anyways went out last night and suprise suprise iv lost my phone will i be able to claim or not?
will they be funny since i never notified them that id found it ?
im paying £40 a month for it, phone wasnt the best just a blackberry 9700 bold but iv now lost all my numbers,pics everything so il be paying 40 a month for something i dont have :/
what shall i do? its my1st contract and iv not even had it 6 months

you can either try to claim....they might be a bit funny
or just phone up orange and ask for a replacement sim card and get hold of a cheap second hand phone to pop it into

If you never informed your insurance last time that you'd found it, you may not have a leg to stand on, but worth a go regardless.
A BB Bold 9700 isn't exactly a shit phone

no, i found the phone with a few deep scratches but at the time i was at college(mechanical engineering) and used to get swarf in the buttons etc so it was a tad battered so i never bothered claiming

going to ring them up soon, need to find the box for the imei number. all my mates seemed to think it was shit and the 3gs was amazing. i just wanted a up to date phone with unlimited everything
