Im looking to buy a mountain bike for the weekend, trouble is iv no clue on what bikes are good, im looking to spend about 300-350 maybe more on a 2nd hand bike, anyone point me in the right direction.

Well, you might be able to get something like a Specialized Rockhopper secondhand for that money. The best thing to do is to have a look around some bike shops/websites and see what you can get for around £500, then go on ebay/pinkbike and have a look for last years model!
