So temptered to purchase one of these but what's worrying me is how do users get around the Flash Player. Can i jailbreak and just use Firefox then install the flash plugin?

Nope and nope.
Jailbreak and install frash, flash is not permitted so Comex has hacked it

flash on ipad/iphone does not include video at the moment so until thats done I would not considering it as a flash capable device

I have frash installed (via cydia), but so far no websites have displayed any flash content for me....

I've had my iPad for 6/7 weeks now and I think in all that time I've only bumped into about 3 flash sites which I cannot use at all.
A few places are missing videos, but tbh I've not found it a problem in the slightest.

Not the app, just makes the website revert to flash instead of html5 but because the flash doesn't work nothing loads.

Do you not find the app crap Bart?
Takes sodding ages to load anything. Granted I'm using it over mobile broadband, but still, going through the website loads way faster than directly through the app.

hmm... i'll compare the next time im on there.
Using the app (over wifi), I cant say Ive had any noticable speed issues.
