well I bought my corsa about 2 months ago but i didn't get a logbook, I only got the green slip, the problem is the slip has been filled out with the previous owners details, so what i am asking is how would i go about geting a new logbook and would i have too pay for it? as i'm planning on selling the car now because i want an astra,,
cheers

Yes, V62.
The fee is waived if you have the green slip, but I think in your car you can't really use it in case they register it back to him!
Sounds like the keeper before the previous one didn't ever send the log book off and has just pass on to you the slip they filled in at the time.
Someone will get fined somewhere along the line for it but the up-side is that the car may show less owners. Although I wouldn't back-date the date of change in case you then become liable for fines.
