me and my m8 having a little argument regarding if u bumped a car on say asda/tesco carpark (private property) does your insurance cover it?
my m8s sayin they wudnt (insurance companies) entertain someone claiming against you for damages to there car

Asda/Tesco similar is still seen seen as public property or a highway, as its open to the public.

I work in car insurance claims and yes your insurance would most definitely have to pay out

road traffic act applied in shopping centre carparks as well so then your insurance should as well
