What power is yours roughly? If its about 200 or just over, then power to weight is about the same between both cars

golf just weighs under 1400kg
so golf power to weight is 207bhp
just found corsa gsi is ment to be 960kg so even if you say yours is bit more at 1000kg then anything over 207bhp and you should be faster,
the edition 30 also will just be fwd so no advantage his way with 4wd or rwd!

true regal are a bit funny on figures and disclamers when a customers car blows up cos they mapped to aggresive. dont get me wrong though ed 30 is very nice and when we went out i really thought i was goin to get beat.
yes graham it was alex's ed 30. was funny tho cos i thought he was goin to beat me and he thought i was goin to beat him. think he was expecting more of a lead though.

Na the ED30 just about pulls on me now he's had his remap. My car weighs 80kgs more with 266bhp his is 1400kgs with 290, plus he has DSG so you can see how much he pulls on me when I'm changing gear. So you'll beat me for sure, but I'm still standard

That's the company that do them. They are nice and local (10 miles away) and people have travelled from Fife in Scotland to have theirs mapped and are happy with it, so they must be good with MPS's. I have just heard bad stories within my group of friends about their dodgy rollers and maps etc so it kinda puts me off. I should just give it a go and if I'm not happy get my money back, but I'm stuffed if it's a pants remap as I can't get it done anywhere else.
I'm happy with the power anyway as I barely drive it it still puts a smile on my face everytime I do, it's just annoying knowing it's not easy to get it mapped.
