Hardly something to discuss considering he has played all of 0 minutes of PL football.
He may well be, he may not be - time will tell tbh.

It's only the sort of thing you can answer after they have fulfilled their careers, so about a decade and a half for Balotelli and about Christmas for Torres.
One things for sure though, in m eyes a player is only a true great if they can play consistantly, that's not something Torres has at present. That's why a Lampard type player is better than say Redknapp even though in terms of ability I don't feel there is much in it.

80 league games and 56 goals isnt consistent?
Or 117 games for us and 72 goals isnt?

He will be better than Torres at staying out of the medical room on a regular basis.

Sorry, I didn't word it very well. I meant in terms of appearances (ie. injury) hence the Lampard/Redknapp reference.
I can see how it could be misinterpreted though.

I think he meant playing on a consistent basis, rather than being injured all the time. Assuming that is his record, it's quite an incredible goals to game ratio.

Only thing Balotelli has over Torres is that he has scored in recent months.....
IMHO Bobby Manc should keep his trap shut.

Balotelli may turn out to be a sensation in the EPL but as suggested it will be a long time before people can properly talk about that. As for nando's (for you ben ) injury record, it's definitely a concern but he doesn't take long to find form which makes it easier to deal with
