i really want to go to mexico next year for holiday. i know some people on here have been there.

what's it like? weather good i take it (will be 2 weeks in august)? any recommended hotels?

not bothered about night life. just want a nice relaxing holiday with sun and a beach and sea in luxury.

went to cancun, its not too shabby.

i prefered venzuela tho. hotter and had better beaches imo.

Hang fire on booking if you're using Riu, I can poss get a discount on it. I didn't check it out properly because it looked too posh for CS

I been mate, cant reccomend it enough, just make sure u book a decent hotel, some of lads we went with booked a cheaper hotel and it GROT! stay at the riu - everything u need. Weather is amazing, get the odd storm but thats Mexico lol. Youll love it mate. Enterrainment is awesome!

won't be booking it yet ian just thinking about it for booking around xmas time for next summer.

and cheers matthew, yeah it will be a nice hotel. i've done the bad hotel thing before and it's just not worth it, spoils the holiday. rather pay the extra and get better.

yeah deffo mate, they had there belongings stolen etc it really fcuked there holiday i loved it there id love to go back

me and the mrs went 2 years ago and we had a great time... weather was a big nasty when we got there but once that cleared it was lovely.

consider the time of year that you go as this can have an impact on the weather... ie hurricane season.

My cousin went not long ago but it was after they'd had hurricanes or something so the weather was a bit dodgy. Just one of those things that you cant help though.

RIU hotels are all beautiful, Cancun being best one I've been to!

Highly recommended Ben, not the cheapest but still resonable!

Look at Azul Sensatori Ben, we went this year and it was pure luxury. Awesome holiday.

Fred7 on here has also been and loved it.

we went in aug / sept and it was fine. just something to consider.
