Anyone had experiences in VW polo 1.6 sports (105ps) around a 2007-2008 plate?

Are they good engines,reliable ect?

Also anyone got any subtle pics of them?

Just keep your Corsa.Makes sense. That way you wont need to start a new thread every week asking if certain cars are any good.

ull be even more sick of polos they all look the same tbh from my point of view, they all have to be low and wheels, thts all and the previous models the 1.6 was slower than the 1.4 figure that out

Are you on about the 6n? The 1.4 and 1.6 8v's were rubbish engines, the 1.4 16v was much better

I looked at them all and bought a 53 plate 1.9 gt tdi 130.
Compare the stats
Newer golfs of the same cc are slower and less economical than mine

The bhp of the same cc is lower and less torque.

Nearly bought a gttdi150 but worried about the cams eating followers on them.
Bigger turbo and fmic being the main differences.

Mk5 Golf had the 1.9 PD100 and 2.0 PD 140 and 170, I think some of the last ones may of had the common rail diesels too.

About the polo, its actually known by many as a MK7

You would say that.

Which Polo you looking at wooly?

I've been in a 6n2 GTI (1.6 engine) and it feels really quick.
