i might be getting a s reg 1400 hi torque corsa , i dont know much about it tbh and neither does the owner so has anyone got any sort of spec on them ?

8v have higher low down torque, not over all higher torque. less bhp than 16v's.

Make sure it hasn't got power steering to make the torque steer more manageable.
