never really thought about it until now, if you did some light weight high rep in the morning and heavy weight low rep in the evening with that work ?
would it give you enough time to recover or is it a stupid idea ?
anyone ??
Cheers

um why would you want to, once a day on one body part is sufficient, twice a day is asking for over training.

Light weight high rep must basically make it a met-con?
Depends what your aims are I guess. If its strength and not size then heavy lift + metcon is totally fine.
Also, train the lift not the body part!

No wouldnt not be good, overworking the muscle, however, if you were to work a different muscle group it wouldnt be an issue.

I couldnt do it. I feel like i live in the gym enough and I only go 3 times a week!

When you say heavy lifting what do you actually mean?
Power/Olympic lifts or assistance?

You find a lot of pro body builders train twice a day. But they would do different body parts am/pm

depends how long the individual takes to repair muscle. i can re-work the same muscle group within 36 hours normally.

that depends on how intense the training sessions are, you can train legs three times a week if you have the right programme

Full body workouts are aimed at working the same body parts 3 times a week (usually).
