is it possible to buy a brank spanking new 2.0 turbo or 16v from vaux...? how much would they cost?
i heard on here somewhere that courtenay used new ones?!?

no, courtenay rebuild them, and class them as new. thats why there so much. Why not buy mine off me, then rebuild it for a grand and save some cash!

u can get a brand new one from vaux but your taking u will have to sell your lungs to get one

Its not a BRAND NEW one from Vauxhall, its factory reconditioned. Something like 176 new parts inside the engine. Think it was £1400 +VAT.
The C20LET was only about £300 more.
A brand new F28 'box was like £3500

Wrong again. You can buy the brand new block from Vauxhall for £1400 but you dont get anything. No loom, no nothing. Its the same with the C/X16XE engines for £1000. Price is JUST for the engine block.

Yup, no ancilaries or anything, just the bare block with sump. No head (i dont think) no alternator, starter, coil etc
There was a thread on mig about this a few weeks ago.
