I always find corner spaces at work (Safeway). Then I always park so that im almost touching the curb, and so i leave a big gap on the other side of the car. Even still you'd be surprised at the amount of people that still park there cars really close to mine, ignoring those "funny white stripes" on the floor

nah why should people with kids get spaces nearer the door. GTF with your kids. it's discrimination against people like me that don't want kids

I remember parking in a multi-storey once, i parked in one space only, since i trust the people who i park next to return the favour of NOT denting my car. So i return after half an hour shopping to find a Honda 4x4 thing parked so close that they pushed my mirror in to get through. I could not get in my own door, so i promptly kicked their wing-mirror off when no one was looking and let down their front tyre. They wont be doing that again in a hurry. It was obviously a woman since there were kiddy seats in the back. BEWARE OF MOTHERS IN 4x4's!!!

I'll agree with this. I have two kids in the back and a double buggy. Normal spaces are too tight and it does really piss me off when mugs nick the parent and child spaces!
