need to sell mine yet, not sure that i'll get much more than 2700 for it and only have £750 set aside for insurance. id probably struggle to stretch to £3500 for the car its self because i really want to pay insurance in one go rather than put it to the car

I'm after turbo and quick, I'm so bad at changing my mind though! The Corsa is the opposite to the comfortable golf though! I'm thinking about 1500 quid will get everythin I need for the engine conversion, then I just need to sort wheels brakes and suspension. Cheaper and faster than a golf but I somehow doubt it will be as reliable

need to cut costs due to taking a much lower paid job/apprenticship and could use the money else where.

i can afford to keep it but id rather not skint myself for a car

buy the cupra and map it and it wont be a great deal slower than a 200bhp let corsa.

ohhh and according to the cs gods it cost 4k to do a let corsa

a 1.2 chevette/kadett c lol

method to my madness though, can insure as a classic on my dads policy and me as a second driver as its small capacity. uber cheap insurance and costs for a year till my wage improves then have an ideal car for a c20xe........

thats what i mean, the golf does seem like the more sensible option. i do really want to zlet my c, but its a lot of money to put into it really that i wont get back. at least a turbo b would only owe me 2 or 3 grand which id get most back if i sold/split it

i need to go out in a let corsa really, that will make my mind up! i might buy the corsa anyway so ive got transport when the c is gone so i can look properly for a decent golf. then maybe keep it as a little project for the next couple of years

But spend a cpl o hundred quid on some tuning parts for the LET and you will see an easy 240bhp which will destroy the cupra.

k03s for 200quid and a map seems to make 240 bhp on seat cupra too though, both engines have huge tuning potentials, yellow cupra round here running 450 brake

C20LET will be alot cheaper to tune though still.Even to get to 280bhp dosnt cost much.
Like for like in terms of power,my money would still be on the Corsa.

KO3s and a map takes them to 240bhp??You sure??Fro-drizzle dosnt seem to think so.Hes quoted just over 200bhp.
