Going to get it sorted tomorrow finally. I don't think I could get used to the smell of petrol coming through my air vents every time I drive, and the crap fuel economy (which is even worse than my old 1.2 Corsa)!
I think the problem is down to a loose fuel feed hose (see second pic - one hose is further away from the inlet manifold than the other), but I can't be arsed to sort it out myself - knowing my luck I will probably fuck it up!
The fuel just kind of pisses out whenever the engine is started from cold - NOT GOOD!

Dave - a local mechanic I use is going to be sorting it out tomorrow morning. It just took ages for me to find out where it was actually leaking from!
It's a good thing it doesn't leak on to the exhaust, otherwise... BOOM!

UPDATE
Got the problem sorted out this morning. My mechanic said it was basically that hose which I thought looked a bit loose, it was split, hence why it was pissing out with fuel! Changed the hose and put proper jubilee clips on, all sorted out now!
Cost me £28 but well worth it IMO, as it's a bastard of a job to sort out on the C14SE because of the inlet manifold design (ie. fuel feed hoses are very hard to get to etc.)

The actual FPR is that cylinder sized thing above the red circle. Must be some other kind of adjustment screw I would imagine...

No idea. I'll check in my Haynes manual at home for my Astra if I remember!
