So I want to lose weight.....but it seems my own personal weight loss isn't enough of a motivating factor to get me to put much effort into it.
I figured that if I had a good goal to aim for I would be more likely to work at it. So I'd like to train for some kind of physical challenge for charity.
Initially I thought about the 3 peaks challenge but then thought perhaps I was setting my sights a bit high (I'm pretty unfit right now), so I also considered the London to Brighton bike ride.
Any know of any other good ones? I don't really want to do one that is just a run/marathon.

My initial suggestion was going to be London to Brighton. I'm going for it next year.

Go to the gym at the right time and it's jam packed full of birds.
You get something to look at while doing a workout and you're prompted to try harder because they look at the guys with big muscles and not you with your beer belly
