Too much current so the car won't start? Reason i ask is this, been having problems for a short while: http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=570550
Tried everything.
Stick a meter across it when its running and it shows 14+volts, when its off it still shows 12+. Try to start the car and it does nothing, doesn't even try to crank.
Ideas anybody cos im stumped.

both earths on either end the fuel rail connected?
make one going from the gearbox to the chassis leg mate.
the battery can act as a negative, and not an earth... if that makes sense

Mine was doing exactly the same mate, the battery was acting as a negative rather than an earth. chuck one from gearbox to chassis leg. should start

Wont do any harm to stick an extra one on.
Make sure all the existing ones are clean and going to clean faces.

All tight, new connections. Solenoids fine, can hear it popping out.

On a car the earth is the negative terminal of the battery.

Usually via one of the gearbox to engine mounting bolts IIRC, but as long as it is a good clean connection, anywhere is fine.
