Currently own an Astra SRi jointly with my other half. Had it 15 months now and has been nothing but grief so were thinking of selling up before the warranty ends and it becomes more of a problem.

Astra is worth around 8.5k as a trade in and we have 3k finance settlement so basically we have 5.5k deposit.

Happy to finance up to 5k so budget is around 10 - 11k.

New car must be reasonably good on fuel but doesn't need to be a diesel, no older than 2007 and cant be anything bigger than the astra or the other half wont drive it. So what would you get, I'm stumped and really cant decide.

Doubtful but I'll be doing my best to not buy one from them anyway. Vardys valued it at 8k so with a bit of pressure 8.5 is more than achievable I reckon.
