my car has just failed on emmissions only any help or pointing in right direction would be great.

It needs an italian tune-up.. I.e. THRASH THE FUCK out of it before you retest.

might be worth while giving it a good service as well if its not had one in a while

i wouldnt service it so close to a test it can make the emissions worse.. unless you can do like 2-300 miles before your test.. if mot hasnt expired then thats fine

because the car is still running it as it was set before the service so incorrect fuel etc for the way its running, takes a few miles for engine to adjust properly
