Well it was a great day
My DTM touring car still isn't finished and my Corsa Turbo has got major tracking issues so I decided to run down in my Astra for a laugh
Here's some pics taken in the queue
And some of the other cars present
Me racing a dodgy buggy thing that got disqualified
Me launching it on my best run!
I found 4700rpm with TC off was best
My times were
15.0082 @ 96.31mph, 2.67 60ft
14.6352 @ 97.36mph, 2.46 60ft
14.6204 @ 97.11mph, 2.45 60ft
14.6190 @ 96.52mph, 2.39 60ft
That shows just how predictable and boring a Mk4 is to race lmao

I'm not sure all I saw was the marshalls pointing at various bits of the buggy and frowning, then making him leave the track It's harsh because he queued for ages and the other marshalls said nothing

Ta mate it was a full on VW show, I can't remember the name of it but it was 2 or 3 times the size of PV.
