anyone know if hsbc have machines that let you pay in change without sorting it into bags, i heard that natwest have them but i dont have a natwest account.

Just do it on one of those machines at ASDA. It's not a massive % they take.

Some HSBC branches have them, it gets paid straight into your account. I think its usually only the bigger branches that have them however...

Silver is bagged and taken to the bank

Coppers go in the sorting machine in Sainsburys.

7% on £200 is taking the piss.....7% on £20 of coppers is fairplay

Lincoln branch does I have an account with them so can use it, havent tried with the missus' Halifax one, she just puts it into my account and then I transfer it over. Bollocks to paying 7/9% on it!
