The other weekend was the Renault World Series at Silverstone and I decided to go both days, glad I did now even though it was twice as busy on the Sunday. Out of the 710 pics amassed over the weekend, these I have deemed the best. Taken with a Nikon D3000, Nikon 18-55mm VR and Nikon 70-300mm VR II.











































This guy went on to crash just after I took this pic

At the end of his laps, the F1 driver (really should have paid attention to catch his name) did some donuts outside the pits





Couldn't decide which crop I liked better with this one, so here's both...

Sooooo loud its unreal. I was standing next to a 60s Matra at Reims whilst the owner was revving it the other week and seriously thought my ears were bleeding, even the old cars arent a touch on how loud F1 cars of today are. Its something you MUST experience.

The F1 car is seriously mental, there are no words to explain how loud the noise is Everyone was running for a spot by the fence when he was going round, it was awesome As it goes past it feels almost like your ears have exploded
