I know this isn't strictly a photography related question but I thought this is the most appropriate place to ask.

Basically I need to design a product datasheet, and I want the output format to be PDF.

Would Illustrator be the best program to use for this? It will contain some vector images that were created in Illustrator previously as well BTW.

Yep, inDesign. You could do it in either Illustrator or Photoshop, but inDesign is based around laying out documents.

I just did it in Illustrator in the end as I don't have InDesign.

Thanks anyway.
