Should be in Snap Day but noone goes in there
Talk to me, i need a new digital camera, due to using it mounted in the car it cant be anything of DSLR form factor and will need to do film footage
So point and shoot, I also use it a lot at car places, tracks etc so a good zoom is ideal, iv seen a few months back a Canon Powershot that had 12x optical zoom i was quite impressed by that.
Jessops offer an option to pay over 6 months, but you have to spend 250, is there anywhere else that offers similar options?
That will be the price bracket in which case so any suggestions?

I've got a couple of year old panasonic lumix DMC TZ5, it's a cracking camera, think it's only 8megapixel but I'm sure it takes better pictures than my nikon d60.

Zoom isn't bad on mine at all, was certainly doing better at castle combe than my slr
The only other camera I've had was my ancient samsung but that had no zoom.

Why do people justify posting in the wrong section because "noone goes in there"? That isn't an acceptable excuse I'm going to batter you Steve J Williams.

It's the sheep mentality effect. One person says no-one goes in a specific forum so blatantly posts in the wrong section, then everyone else follows suit using the same "justification".
If people fucking posted in the right section in the first place then there would fucking well be posts in there

panasonic lumix tz8, really impress with it for a point and shoot, the price was just over 200 quid, if i spent a bit more i couldve got a low end DSLR, but for what i need to use it for a DSLR form factor is too big and also wont mount in the car
