Atm I have had the speed sensor changed and the speedo itself and it still doesnt work. I got some tigra clocks fitted to my 12v and apparently I am idling at 1.2k which cant be right, so i am thinking the speedo cable is gone?

Yeah the rev counter wont read right if the clocks aren't specifically for a 12v model. Wont be a speedo cable causing the problem though mate as it wont have one because the clocks are electronic

I have changed 2 sets of clocks and they read 0mph. So what clocks do I need to get a rev counter.

Can you not get revcounter clocks to work properly on the 12v then Shaun?

your 12v being post 97 will have an electric speedo, you simply need the clocks from another 12v to work propperly
unless its very very unlikely you have a 12v that need s a speedo cable

Matt just answered this saj
You need clocks out of another 1.0 12v

You can but you need a set that came out of a 1.0 in the first place.
